The Educaitonal Measurement and Evaluation Department, activated in 2015, is one of the four departments within the Department of Educational Sciences. The department aims to educate teacher candidates at the undergraduate level in measuring and evaluating student success, providing fundamental knowledge in research, statistical methods and techniques, as well as project preparation and reporting. Additionally, it aims to enhance the skills of students, particularly at the graduate level, in research, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
While preparing future educators, the Educational Measurement and Evaluation Department not only imparts theoretical knowledge but also supports their application skills. Teacher candidates develop practical skills in implementing innovative assessment approaches, creating quality assessment tools, and utilizing digital platforms. Similarly, graduate students enhance their abilities in designing research projects, managing complex processes such as data collection and analysis, and honing practical skills in effective reporting.
