In educating individuals who will increase our country’s competitiveness in the scientific and technological fields, we aim to train academicians and physics teachers who have the scientific content, technological and pedagogical field knowledge required by physics education, who can use them effectively and efficiently in appropriate learning environments, who have ethical values, who are sensitive to national and international socio-scientific problems, who can ensure their professional development continuously and who have the capacity to work nationally and internationally.
Vision
The vision of the Division of Physics Education is to train well-equipped teachers with national and international qualifications. To make science education, which our country needs within the international harmonization process, effective; to take an active part in studies aimed at increasing the effectiveness of physics education, and to actively participate in scientific research as a division.
