The purpose of the Special Education Department is to provide students, families, teachers, administrators and individuals with a special to train special education teachers who can work with other members of the society. Within the Department of Special Education, there are Department of Mentally Handicapped Education, Department of Gifted Education and Master of Science in Special Education Program. In addition to this, a professor, an associate professor and an assistant professor are employed and some of the courses in the program are carried out
