To train educators who aim for individuals with intellectual disabilities to be independent and productive like other individuals in the society and to participate more in the society, who can work towards this realisation, who have professional ethical values; to carry out scientific studies in this field and to develop innovative approaches to the field.

To ensure equal participation and contribution of individuals with intellectual disabilities to community life without discrimination between them and other individuals in the society and to contribute to the creation of a more inclusive society.
