1. To train teachers who can define, relate and analyse the basics of their field.
2. To train teachers who have knowledge about teaching programmes, teaching strategies, methods and techniques, measurement and evaluation, materials related to their field.
3. To train teachers who act in accordance with democracy, human rights, social, scientific and professional ethical values.
4. To train teachers who act in accordance with the laws, regulations and legislation related to their duties, rights and responsibilities as an individual.
5. To educate teachers who can take responsibility and produce solutions individually and as a team member to solve the problems encountered in practice.
6. To support the academic, personal, social and emotional development areas of prospective teachers.
7. To cooperate with stakeholders nationally and internationally and to produce joint projects.
8. To follow national and international publications, congresses and conferences etc. related to the field.
