A Program Quality Commission has been established within our program, and its duties and responsibilities are defined as follows:
- The Program Quality Commission plans, implements, and evaluates quality assurance, self-evaluation, and accreditation activities in alignment with the University’s Strategic Plan. These activities encompass the quality assurance system, education and training, students, academic staff, infrastructure and support services, research and development, societal contribution, and governance. The Commission carries out these processes with the participation of both internal and external stakeholders. It explains how the achievement of the intended program learning outcomes is assured, how performance indicators are monitored, and how continuous improvement is achieved, supporting these processes with appropriate evidence.
- The Commission prepares the Program Self-Evaluation (Quality and Accreditation) Reports in accordance with the schedule determined by the University and submits them through the University’s Management Information System (ÜYBS).
- Based on the results of internal and external evaluations, as well as the strategic priorities established by the University administration, the Commission identifies and addresses areas requiring improvement. It also plans, implements, and monitors corrective and improvement actions for issues identified in previous internal and external evaluation processes.
- The Commission plans, implements, monitors, evaluates, and takes corrective and preventive actions for quality assurance activities each academic year in accordance with the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle to ensure continuous improvement.
- The outcomes of quality assurance, self-evaluation, and continuous improvement activities are communicated transparently with both internal and external stakeholders.
