Buca Education Faculty Division of Guidance and Psychological Counseling was established in 1989 to train psychological counselors and guidance teachers. In our department, which started to provide education under the umbrella of the Department of Educational Sciences in the 1990-1991 academic year, a formal education program has been implemented since its establishment.
The language of instruction in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling is Turkish.
In addition to the 4-year undergraduate education, there is an optional preparatory class.
As of 2022, our department has become one of the barrier-free programs by taking badge at the Accessible Universities Awards 2022.
